Aig Term Life Insurance Knowledge Base

Lapsed AIG term life insurance? We paid the AIG term life insurance for more than 3 years, and lately my wife just found out she has a tumor, and we also found out her insurance is lapsed. What can I do now, and will the insurnace company reject her policy even we try to reinstate it. The grace period is gone also. Thanks.
I have term life insurance with AIG purchased 5 yrs ago. Should I cancel it and buy from another company? I am concerned about having to pay more now that five years have passed and I am in a different age range (associated with higher rates). Is my insurance policy secure? What if AIG goes under?
i have decide to join tata aig life insurance as an agent?is this good for long term? i am planning for business partners with tata aig life insurance?please guide
Should I buy long-term care insurance or buy AIG AGLAFlex proplus universal life insurance ? I am 45 years of age,my friend just bought AIG AGLAFlex proplus unversal life insurance, he said, this kind of insurance can take of money from policy to pay for you hosptial or medicen when you got critical illness or chronic illness.most of the life insurance can not do that,if I buy this kind of insurance, I don't need to buy long-term care insurance. I am healthy person and unversal life will cost me $80 per month for $100,000 coverage. I check with my friend and that what he said,AGLAFlex is different than other life insurance, you can take out large sum amount of money at once when you need for your medicare, After you recovery from sick, what ever left over that you don't use,you can keep it,this insurance can help you when you still alive, not after you pass away, I know I have helth insurance, but you never know you will have a job in the future.
Which Term Life Insurance policy to cancel? I have 2 Term Life Insurance policies on myself. Both are for the same dollar amount. "A" is 20 yr, of a stable Insurance company under State Farm Insurance ($68 per month) "B" is 30 yr, one of the AIG Insurances that Uncle Sam bailed out (American General @ $54 per month). I've been paying on both for 18 +/- months. I only need one. I need to free up the cash, but most importantly, which would be the better one to stay with. I ALMOST cancelled the 20 yr policy, then the AIG debaucle hit the fan. Now, I hesitate. Is there a web page that can help compare these type "apples to oranges" ? Please advise and thanks! 121908 8:30 Well....my rates seem high because the policies are for a high amount. I do this to make it easier for my hubby to outright own any home we may have, pay off debts. So, I guess I need to let you know that my policies are $250k each. It seems high, but I believe that the return is worth it. Even if I'm not here to "enjoy it".
ROP term life insurance? Anyone heard of this or has it? I'm thinking of getting this type on insurance but am unsure. Are all life insurance cut and dry or what? I know we can't afford whole life so that's out of the question. Thinking of AIG ROP term for 30 years. Currently am 28, 2 kids, healthy.
What will happen to my life insurance policy if AIG goes down? My husband and I both have odd life insurance policies. They are considered term policies because they do expire, but as long as we don't die, we get all our premiums back at the end. It was a new type of product they were offering. Since we are young (25) we thought it was a good idea because basically when we turn 45 we get all that money back to do with as we please. Anyways, what if AIG can't pay us back in 20 years...?
Does anybody else have the type of life insurance that pays you back if you don't die? Both my husband and I pay monthly premiums for a "term" life insurance plan that expires in 20 years. We pay a little bit higher premium I believe but then at the end of the term, if we don't die, we get that money back. We are 25 years old, so our premiums were low to begin with, so paying a little bit extra wasn't a big deal. Our insurance company is AIG though... what if they go under and can't pay us back in 20 years?
Should we keep life insurance policy with AIG? My husband's life insurance policy is through AIG. I heard on the news recently that people are having lots of trouble with AIG, not to mention the countless selfish things they've been caught doing! Is it safe to stay with this company, or should we cash out and move on to someone else? The policy does not term, so we'll be paying it for the rest of my husband's life. Please help!
What are the basic rules of term life insurance? I am looking at 30 year term life for my husband and myself. Why do they need to come out to take blood to check our cholesterol and liver function tests? We are only buying $500,000 each worth of insurance. Is it the dollar amount or the fact that we are 40 right now? How does life insurance work? What if we both die right away does our son get the entire amount or is there a "waiting period" where you have to pay in for a certain amount of time before they get the money? Also, are there any exclusions such as suicide and is this normal for a policy to have these certain exclusions? The company is AIG and I think they are listed as being a solid company. Thank you in advance for your information it is appreciated. After the tests have been taken, can we ask for and receive the results free of charge? For example, can we have our cholesterol levels and CBC results? Or will we get the run-around?
Life insurance policy for dying father? It's pretty simple ....I dont want to be left with his huge debt ,mortgage .CC's etc. I'm encouraging him to revise his will but he absolutely refuses to even discuss it (denial) his assets come NO-WHERE near where his debts are at especially his 300k mortgage and only something like 20k in his 401k, I'll probably try to consolidate his debt but also the funeral ,personal loans totalling over 450k to some pretty pissed people So I'm looking for a low cost solution here ..Has anyone heard of AIG Term Life?? I'm planning to get the term life for $1 milliion for 30 years and the cost annually is: Banner Life $700 A+ TransAmerica $740 A+ AIG $760 A++ AIG is the only one that's getting A++ rating (I don't know what that means but anything with lots of A plus sounds good). Is AIG going under? What does that 'really' mean? I currently have auto insurance with AIG, and planned to call them today to set up a Term Life insurancy policy AND switch my Home Owner's Insurance to them... Should I change my mind or is all the talk just "talk"??? How serious is this? Anyone that knows more about this type of stuff, can you give me some guideance before I make a potentially 'bad' move? Thanks!
is UNUM Life Insurance finacially stable? I am paying them for a long term care policy and would hate to think my money is going down the drain as was AIG.

What happens with my term life insurance if the insurer goes belly up before I do? Now that AIG is almost dead... My current policy started 10 years ago and has 30 more to protect my family. Just wondering if any of today's insurers are actually likely to be around 30 years from now.
Can you recommend a good life insurance company? Is AIG good? Is AIG better than AAA life insurance company in terms of premium affordability and paying claims? Are there insurance companies that make your policy void if you go to certain countries?
