How best to pay my Max New York Life (MNYL) insurance policy premium in India from USA?

Hi. What is the best way to pay my yearly insurance policy premium on my Max New York Life policy? I don't have bank account in India and using my credit card lands me with a hefty "currency conversion charge"! I'm hoping for an answer that applies specifically to MNYL. Thanks. Vamsi.
