New York Life vs MetLife Insurance?
I have currently worked for New York Life Insurance for about 2 months. I am just getting started on actually being able to do business now that I have gotten my 215 - Life, Health, and Var. Annuities license. On the other hand, I just got an offer yesterday to come and work for MetLife Insurance. I have heard a few good things about them but in reality I don't know much about either company to know which one would be my best move. I would like your opinion and advice please. Thanks.

- I'm not that familiar with New York Life but my recommendation would be to not be a captive agent. That is, an agent that can only sell one company's products. I would try to find a financial advisory firm as there would be much more potential and much more respect because your job is to provide advice instead of pushing products.
- Michael's Girl, Health insurance can be very tricky. Since I'm from Delaware I'm not familiar with the New York laws and regulations, so I recommend you contact a nearby health insurance agent. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Health-Insurance.html They will be able to help you.
