What happens with my term life insurance if the insurer goes belly up before I do?

Now that AIG is almost dead... My current policy started 10 years ago and has 30 more to protect my family. Just wondering if any of today's insurers are actually likely to be around 30 years from now.

1. The names may change as they gobble each other up, but if you continue to pay your premiums your policy will probably still be around. It just may have a different logo on the letterhead.
