  1. USAA, if you are eligible for membership.
  2. what are your criteria.....??cheapest?? least complaints??
  3. Auto insurance and car insurance is the same thing. I can't think of any insurance company that sells BOTH, besides State Farm, and Nationwide - AND, most of the time THEY will make you use different agents. How do you define "best"? MOst coverage? Or cheapest premium? Or lowest complaint ratio? Or largest? Or highest financial strength rating? Bottom line - you probably need an agent, to help you figure out which is best FOR YOU.
  4. Auto Insurance Rates will vary depending on the insurance agency, your driving record, and the type of insurance you are looking to purchase. I you are looking for affordable car insurance or truck insurance then read on. http://www.sunautoinsurance.50webs.com/
  5. The best insurance companies are the ones that pay claims when they are supposed to. Only purchase insurance, whether it be Life, Auto, Home, Medical, etc., from a company with an A.M. Best rating of A++ (Superior), A+ (Superior), A (Excellent), A- (Excellent). Do NOT purchase from a company with less than an A- rating. The A.M. Best Company is an independent rater of insurance companies, and has been doing so for more than 100 years. Those ratings listed above, are the Financial Strengths and claims-paying abilities of the insurance companies. BTW, Nationwide does sell Multi-Line policies, and depending on the agency, you might deal with a couple of agents. But the agency has a Primary Agent who owns the agency, and ALL your insurance programs will be in the same agency. It doesn't matter about what someone else said in that matter. They are able to serve your needs better. Now, if you were going to two different agencies across town from each other, that would be different. You see, in some Nationwide agencies, depending on the size of the agency, their agents specialize in the type of insurance they sell and service. One might sell personal lines; auto home, and another; life, health, and another; commercial, etc. Not all Nationwide agencies do it this way. These agents could be licensed CSR's, or Associate Agents. The CSR's are paid salaries, plus bonus on the total agency bonus. The Associates earn a portion of the agency's total commission on their sales, plus bonus if any. You can still have ALL your policies on one statement or bank withdrawal. So you'll still be making only one payment. Note: The aforementioned bonuses are based on production and loss ratio, which the agency has to make money in order to pay bonuses. Not like AIG execs. bonuses. I highly recommend Nationwide, but there are a lot of other good companies out there. BTW, my daughter-in-law and her sister own a $3,500,000 Nationwide agency. In addition, they have one licensed office manager, and two licensed CSRs. Any one of them can help any customer with his/her insurance.

  8. My recomendation is to research a bit to find out EXACTLY what cover you need, then get quotes from ALL the MAIN USA Insurance Carriers and then go for the CHEAPEST one. There is a variety of comparison sites that will help you in your task, get a pen and pencil out, start getting quoted and keep note of who quoted what and for how much. After a while of filling forms and getting prices you'll quickly build a knowledge of it all. This is a good comparison site that I use: http://www.esuperfind.com/ and here is a big list of dot gov resources that are very useful for guidance: http://www.simplyinsurancequotes.com take your time and don't rush into anything. Hope I helped

  10. Talk to a State Farm Agent. They are not the least expensive, but they are not the most expensive. Keep this in mind...you get what you pay for.
