In the UK we have the National Health Service founded in 1947 by Bevan, an ex-coalminer and paid for out of a small tax called National Insurance, levied on everyone. This entitles everyone, rich or poor, to the same excellent treatment from cradle to grave. You should pay no heed to the the ravings and lies of that treacherous filth, Daniel Hannan. His career as a "politician" will soon be over!

2. I once asked an American, a working one, why they didn't have a health care system like ours. The answer I got was "Why should I pay health costs for some scrounging bum?" In other words they had no interest in helping anyone in need, only their own family mattered and they had no time for a system that they saw as socialist. Talk about a nation divided. Couldn't agree more about Hannan, every system has its flaws but overall the NHS is something every Brit should rightly be proud of.
3. well what can i say,as a yank..it amazing me as well. it's all politics and one side wants to keep it the way it is and will do anything to make it so.the republicans talk real bad about are closes allay.if they get back in power they think it's ok,i hope you people remember this slander and call them on it if they do(get back in power) i will say it for my GOD bless it country ....sorry....
4. We are such a country divided by race and religion no one wants to help any other persons who are different than they or their own family and friends. Fked up! Then we have people in the republican party making money off of this type of hatred and egging people on to be more divisive.

6. Make no mistake,even in the uk many low paid can no longer afford dentists , opticians prescriptions and even to park a car at a UK hospital can cost an hours pay .This is why our politicians and rich people go private. Yes people are born equal but rich people are born more equal.
