What is the worst part about getting life insurance quotes?

I am writing an article and i am trying to get the insight on the most difficult part about finding life insurance quotes. Also, what are some things you worry about in general when it comes to life insurance? Any insights would be much appreciated. My wife and i just went through this because we had a baby girl. But i would definitely be interested in more opinions than my own :)

  1. The hardest part for me was recognizing that I am mortal and will die at some time. People hate this thought and facing their own mortality. As for things that I worry about is how much is enough and what happens if both of us die at the same time - multiple beneficiaries seemed really cumbersome. What options do we have to increase benefits over the years - will the benefits ever decrease, that kind of thing. Good luck with the article!
  2. My husband has no life insurance at all. He has diabetes and he had a heart attack eleven years ago (and has been very stable ever since) but as soon as you mention diabetes, their offer is off the table. I am younger than he, in my fifties, good health and do not need to take medication for anything so I have life insurance. The worst thing is all the paperwork you have to go through and in hubby's case, the medical. I try not to worry about life insurance because I feel that I will be able to make it one way or another. Insurance companies are wonderful until you make a claim........*sigh* You will probably find that because you are younger, you don't have as many problems. If you need any further assistance, feel free to email me. Good luck, Ginger
  3. Death:) Just kidding! Congrats on the baby girl!! Life insurance quotes is complicated but not that bad. I just did the same thing and got a great Term Life policy for me and my kids and grand daughter. It pays off the mortgage and other medical expenses, plus burial and final expenses. Six people(and I'm a smoker) for only $62 a month. It does reassure me that in the event (which is always possible) that anyone dies (God forbid) we won't have to struggle with trying to give them a respectable, decent burial and try to go on with our lives. ***My police includes an even split for 5 people of $100,000.*** if I go first. I have all of my insurance ( car, home and life) with Farmers Ins. Group. I had no difficulties. I did mostly everything over the phone. My agent( I have the greatest agent in the world) sent me everything I had to sign and in about a week I got the call that everything was approved. It was all painless. I sent the first premium and I was done.
  4. I would say, trying to understand what I'm being sold. There are so many different types of life insurance now, finding an agent that will take the time to explain things in laymen's terms is very important.
  5. One of the cool website on insurance quotes which I just came across, hopefully may help you : http://the-insurance-quotes.blogspot.com
  6. The most difficult part is obtaining quotes that you will actually qualify for after underwriting is complete
