Can I get money back from Gerber life?

I have been paying for Gerber Life Insurance on my son and husband for about 2 years now, it is only $9.00 a piece each month, I have been thinking about cancelling my sons insurance who is 2 1/2 and just saving money for him instead. If I want to cancel my business with them, can i get the money back that i paid in or is it lost? Best answer will be chosen. Thanks

1. It will depend on Gerber's policies. Ask them.
2. Life insurance is a substitution for the breadwinner in case of early death. If your husband earns the money, then he needs to have insurance on him, in case, so that you and the children will be able to survive. Thus, why would you take out a life policy on a child, who earns nothing? Maybe the monthly fee is small, but it is a total waste. I'd cancel it asap. Whether you will get anything back is doubtful.
