is foresters life insurance company a good company to deal with?

Has anyone heard of this life insurance company? I am trying to get insurance through them but I am not sure if they are a good company. I cant seem to find any company that has rated them.. Any advise will help.

1. They write life insurance in the UK, and are not financially rated, at their own request. I wouldn't buy life insurance from an unrated company. You probably shouldn't, either.
2. Their headquarters are in Toronto Canada. They ARE rated by A.M. Best with a rating of "A". http://www.foresters.biz/about/strength.asp
3. I looked around and found a few things about them. The have been around for about 135 years (according to their website), and are currently rated A by AM Best under the name Independent Order of Foresters. I was not able to find much regarding customer experiences, but it really should come down to how you feel working with the agent. If they are too pushy, avoid them. If they make you feel at ease about the decision you are making and help to consult you on picking the right products for your needs, all while providing a competitive price, go for it.
