All Life Insurance Tips

Can someone explain how I would make money at this insurance agency?

I have a job offer at Liberty National Insurance, commission only. I understand the general idea behind commission, but can someone go in detail as to how a life insurance (and other small policies) agent gets paid. PS: Is it a lot of cold-calling? And are all companies this way (Aflac, etc.)? If it's cold calling, then why would I need to sit in an office with 10 other people doing the same? Couldn't I accomplish this at home and save driving 25 miles? Lol.

  1. It's TONS of cold calling, or knocking on doors. YOU have to round up the customers, and in exchange, you get a percentage of the sale (commission). Yes, all insurance companies work that way. Performance is rewarded handsomely, and non-performance doesn't cost them a dime.
