All Life Insurance Tips

Is this the Republican agenda for next election cicle?

1) Greatly reduce or entirely eliminate taxes on the rich, thereby forcing hard-pressed working families to painfully make up resulting revenue shortfalls. 2) Bust labor unions, cruelly preventing the collective bargaining that's the key reason why US workers ever won decent wages and benefits. 3) Stubbornly deny the existence of ominous climate change while blithely pumping more pollutants into the environment from lucrative, dirty industries and practices. Although reputable scientists say 350 carbon parts per atmospheric million is the safe limit for sustained life on Earth, Republicans dismiss the frightening fact that we're already at a carbon level of roughly 390 ppm. 4) Remove "restrictive" regulations on everything from investment banks and credit card companies to a broad array of "profit-eroding" consumer protections, leaving the American masses exposed to a host of resulting abuses and dangers. 5) Continue to criticize and insufficiently fund public education, advocating private schooling instead, thus entirely ignoring that progressive public systems are used in every country that has education outcomes superior to our own. 6) Outlaw abortion, under a fraudulently moral guise, compelling the US to bloodily join those benighted, backward nations where thousands of already-born, living, breathing, socially functioning females perish because of sexist denials of their basic reproductive rights. 7) Continue to recite a Pledge of Allegiance whose last six words are "with liberty and justice for all," while remaining numbly oblivious to the harsh hypocrisy of preventing our homosexual citizens from marrying. 8) Speak often and loftily of freedom, but engage in secret wiretapping, repression of domestic dissent, neo-McCarthyite witch hunts, Red-baiting name calling, and a panoply of Patriot Act transgressions against the Constitution of the United States...all under the misused rubric of "national security." 9) Show the rest of humankind nothing but bullying world-cop arrogance through endless US interventions and aggressions on foreign soil, resulting not just in countless lives extinguished in indefensible wars, and billions of badly-needed dollars flushed down the drain, but constant al Qaeda recruitment against hated Yankee interlopers. 10) Generally drive down the income levels of America's working-class majority, as a purported cost-saving corporate measure, without appreciating that a populace that's too poor to buy back what society produces is doomed to economic ruin. A living wage is the ultimate "stimulus," but try to find even one Republican who favors it! 11) Continue to lie about the alternative, affordable health care for all that some fifty world nations' people overwhelmingly support, thereby propagandistically leading Americans to think that having private insurance whose premiums are rising at rates three times higher than our pay -- and which routinely denies coverage when it's required most -- is somehow preferable 12) Unleash de facto ethnic cleansing against 12 million immigrant men, women, and children, making them contemporary equivalents of the Jewish scapegoats that Hitler blamed for hardships Germans experienced during a prior period of capitalist economic distress. 13) Shamefully try to lend credence to their avarice and social irresponsibility by revising the Bible to obscure passages that place human need before abject greed, attempting to turn it into a facilitating guide for modern peers of the temple moneychangers whose tables Jesus angrily knocked to the floor (and who undoubtedly wouldn't be mentioned in the amended version that one conservative group is actually, amazingly trying to put into circulation). 14) Give full vent to the intensely bigoted hatred that has crazed extremists dreaming of literally tearing Barack Obama to pieces and gassing all liberals...if only they could. 15) Place the livelihoods and lives of over 300 million Americans in the hands of incompetent ideological "purists" such as Sarah Palin.

  1. Or you could just sum it up as: 1.) Fu*k things up
  2. No, but thanks for asking! 1. reduce everyone's taxes stimulating growth and increasing tax revenues overall. Raise our entire economy up. duh 2. unfair practices of certain labor unions should be addressed. They are killing the industries their constituents work for. Who is that helping? 3. When the climatologists either reach consensus, or one side or the other provides indisputable facts, we'll move in that direction. 4. What? Clinton signed all the deregulation laws that tanked our economy. Have a better look at this one please. 5. I hope my fellow Republicans will join with Democrats and fix the education problem once and for all. It's too darn important to fight over!!! 6. Never happen, move on. 7. There's a Constitutional issue here, potentially pitting the 1st Amendment against the 14th. Check it out - freedom of religion against equal protection under the law. 8. Obama signed the latest FISA and Patriot Act. It's government control over citizens and we all should fight them together! 9. If my father thought this way, we'd all be speaking German right now. Sometimes, we have to fight. Even Obama thinks so. 10. Minimum wages have been on the rise for years. Often they are too high for the work being done, which is why the illegals enjoy a home here in America. 11. Lie? Come'on! Republicans have tried to work with Democrats on this one, but we're frozen out of the process. Reps introduced bill that forces Congress to live on whatever plan they give us - killed by Dems. Reps suggest tort reform - killed by Dems. Reps suggest enhancing Medicare by raising the income ceiling - killed by Dems. On and on it goes... Liberals won't be happy until America is Europe Junior. 12. Is this about illegal immigrants who entered our country ILLEGALLY? Interesting that you hold such disregard for our laws. 13. Some people of every stripe misuse the Bible. At least conservatives don't use it for toilet paper like the liberals. 14. You want to give up free speech? Strange world you're cooking up here! 15. Hahahaha. I knew this rant had to be about your visceral hatred of Sarah Palin! Smart! You saved the reveal for last.
  3. Which one are you in this pic. Democrat Talking Points http://www.flickr.com/photos/daydaydad/2985751622/

  6. When back in office, the Reps will have a huge list of things to do to clean up this mess. That is one thing for sure.
  7. Nice copy and paste. You have anything original? Or is it just the same old rhetoric? If you want to be taken seriously, then maybe you should try debating the actual issues and where republicans truly stand on the issues and not where you think they stand.
  8. I'm pretty sure that's the new purity test they're coming up with.
  9. Yes, that pretty much covers it.
  10. When you stop thinking the rich pay for everything you will understand that YOU and ME..middle class people will be paying for everything. NOT THEM! They have been taking their businesses oversears and going out of business and hiding their money....they are not hurting...YOU AND I WILL BE! If you don't realize the middle class is paying for everything and not the rich...(how many rich do you think can pay for everything????)....then you don't understand much of anything else. Middle class..watch next year...watch YOUR TAXES GO UP..and businesses will keep their money and fold up or go overseas. THEY PROVIDE YOUR MONEY AND JOBS ....and if you don't help them...YOU WILL NOT WORK! WHY don't you people understand that. ??? WHO RAISED YOU That you don't understand the government is going to take care of you.....YOU WILL BE TAXED TO PAY FOR THE LOSS OF THE JOBS and BUSINESSES THAT ARE NOT HERE! God...where do you people even get your reasoning? The rest of your rant is garbage too....
  11. Is this a question? I believe you need to do some research and study up because many of the things you quoted are also supported by moderate Democrats. Also, much of what you said is on the very extreme side of what any conservative would consider to be acceptable for our country. It seems to me that you lack and fresh ideas or the ability to think for yourself. By the way, in reference to number 12 - you forgot to mention that these immigrants are "illegals" and have broken the law to come here (and obtain tax-payer funded programs I might add). Funny how that happens when you don't want people to realize the entire truth right? Next time rather than just splurting a bunch of propoganda (without sources) you might want to actually know what you are talking about so you can present a rational argument. Until that happens you are still just a Liberal Puppet. I can't say I don't like you, I just feel sorry for your ignorance.
  12. No, and this is a response to each point. 1.) They already pay so much, why should they pay more? What is fair? 60%? 70%? Why can't they pay the same PERCENTAGE as me. It's still WAY more money, but the same percentage. 2.) It is true that it was one of the key reasons why there are decent wages in American, but labor unions have become so corrupted that something should be done about them. Probably reform. 3.) How do we even know they are "pollutants"? If they don't believe that a man-made increase in CO2 levels are causing global climate change, then they won't believe they are pollutants either would they. The second part of this question/statement is just ignorant. 4.) I'd rather have abuses than government takeover 5.) I believe in reform for the public school system. I think every republican believes the same. BUT, we also what to INCLUDE private schools in the equation, unlike progressives. 6.) "Outlaw abortion, under a fraudulently moral guise" - You can't even see where we could possibly think that this would be murder? That is just dumb. 7.) I'll give you the same response I get when I get told about abortion being wrong, "It's the law. GET OVER IT." 8.) Both sides voted for that, and I believe it is very wrong. As does just about EVERY republican. You have a warped view of us regarding this. 9.) I believe the wars were justified. You don't have to if you don't want to. I would make the claim that more people would have died if we did nothing than those that Saddam Hussein would have killed in the last 8 years. 10.) You have a warped view on this issue too. You've flip-flopped reality on this one. 11.) Why not have reform without government takeover? That only worsens the issue. 12.) WHAT???? This is so not true. 13.) I believe that both sides are equally guilty of this. 14.) How do you feel about Bush? You've been brainwashed by the media. 15.) She's not incompetent. Again, more media lies.
  13. Stop hating the rich, stop believing "We are all victims" crap. stop voting Democrat and GET A JOB!
  14. Everything is just black and white, eh? I hope you read this...I offer my real honest opinions as answers and not some sarcastic garbage. 1) Not understand taxes much? You do understand it comes from more sources than income, right? And you do understand that a reduction in one doesn't necessarily correlate with an increase in the other, right? I don't understand why people are for "punishing" the rich in this country simply because they're rich. Let's chase them all out so that they can continue to draw significant income via innovation and intelligence, just from and for someone else's benefit. Even better, let's just have a country full of mediocre louses...brilliant. 2) Seriously? You let your mind get out of control with these things. Do you honestly believe that unions are as honest and noble as they were during their inception? The Comcast Center in Philly, a new building, was set to be built as the tallest LEED certified building in the country (maybe world?). This included "flushless" toilets that reduced water consumption in urinals. Despite the obvious advantages, the Philadelphia Plumbers Union protested to the point where the building's engineers actually paid for them to install plumbing for regular urinals--58 stories worth--when no regular-flush urinals were even going to be installed, just to keep them quiet and out of the way. Is that the kind of union tactics you like to see? How about open voting and intimidation? How about unions taking their dues from thousands of members and ascribing them all to the same political belief via donations, whether they like them or not? 3) You're right. All I want is to run everything on coal. Come on now. I won't deny that there are people out there who dismiss the entire thing, but we're going the wrong way with it. It's one thing to say that, yes, humans obviously have an impact on our environment, but it's a whole other story when people begin to think that the government can fix it. Like taxes will scrub the air of pollutants, and buying carbon credits filters our streams and rivers. Right...got it. 4) How about we even pay attention to the regulations in place? Do you have any friends or family in the finance industry? Ask them what caused our current predicament...a lack of regulation, or a lack of enforcement of current regulations? Bernie Madoff himself said that it only required a gander at a few basic investing principals to see he was a fraud, but years of investigation missed it entirely? Not giving loans to people who couldn't afford them doesn't even fall under regulation but common sense--but we were REQUIRED to do so, less we be charged with racism, and potentially lose our jobs. We actually regulated ourselves into bad debt. 5) Is the issue the system, or the people in it? Do you see parents in Detroit responding the same way to their children's math results as those in China? Do you think we honestly have the best teachers that our public dollars can buy? Do you honestly believe that we're teaching our children the value of an education like they do in China and Japan, or do you think they'd rather be American Idols? Furthermore, private school funding is a much more closed source of funding, meaning that that particular school can spend it's tuition and donations on itself, as opposed to spreading it out amongst 1,000,000 of itself. And honestly, I don't think we can even have this conversation until Congressional budgets and salaries are cut and the windfall goes to the teachers. We expect these people to single handedly determine the course of American history via the minds they mold, and we can't even get them to $50k/year? 6) First of all, what moral guise? That a fetus is a life? What proof do you have that contradicts or even proves whether a fetus should be considered a life or not? And this!--> "sexist denials of their basic reproductive rights" Did CVS deny you condoms? Did your suitor refuse to pull out? Your "reproductive rights" start way before you're pregnant, sport. And to act like people in this country don't abuse the shit out of it because of their laziness...unreal. I'm not for banning abortion, but your argument is enough to make me start. 7) They're given Liberty and Justice...don't overreact. What needs to happen is what SHOULD happen. A gay couple should be granted the same basic privileges of a married straight couple, including things like medical care, benefits and taxes. What I see is more of a debate over the word "marriage" then an actual concern in getting what really matters. And let's drop the "minority" angle already. 8) I agree...but let's not just be homers here. How about you check back into your own camp? How about Ed Whitacre--who allowed NSA to mirror trunk lines entering the country in at least 2 dozen places so they can get it back to Laurel, and read and listen from there? How about the fact that Barrack Obama promoted him to the head of GM? If you're so worried about it, you sure don't seem it because it's right behind you and you don't seem to care. Oh...and Ed Whitacre left AT&T for Exxon Mobile, where he's still on the Board of Directors...as the head of a car company. Am I also to assume that you're against Nationalized Health Care? There's no doubt that incredibly personal information will be forwarded to some government bureaucrat who may or may not care about how private your information is, and then determinations of what to do with your own life will surely follow. They'll just be "suggestions"...I'm sure. 9) I can agree with you somewhat here, but at the same time, I see these places and what they do to their citizens and we're supposed to do what? Sit on our hands and watch it? Just because "that's the way it's always been" or "that's their culture" or "it's not my business"? You rally for homosexual rights in one paragraph, then tell us that we should ignore the persecution and execution of homosexuals in other countries. Why? Just because of where they are? A soft resolve that would rather take the easy way and ignore it than go through the trouble of helping out? Should we be involved in as much as we are? No. But isolationism is just as bad, if not worse based on the moral bankruptcy it would take to accomplish. 10) Drive down? Are you kidding me? Income levels have soared since the Industrial Revolution...who's history are you reading? And what's rising quicker...the cost of living or the amount of taxes we pay, AND NOT JUST ON INCOME? How about the ones that are passed on to us? 11) You're right. We should take the examples of countries who share very little with us in terms of the healthcare industry and do what they say. I love how everyone's closest example is a country with 1/10th of our population. I also love how people think that--as different as the people of the world are--we somehow are all the same when it comes to medical care. Because the whole rest of the world is an over-medicated nanny-state society who would trample an old lady for a flu shot because the nightly news told them to. Because in other countries, the poorest among us eat nothing but trans-fats and feed their kids french fries with every value meal they can get their hands on. Because other countries have found a way to fry every food item ever invented and has a booming market for it. Do you not see the forest through the trees here? We'll bankrupt ourselves with the way we treat people, which means either we'll continue on that course, or start banning and mandating what the population of your country of "liberty and justice for all" can eat. I'm not saying to ignore the issue, but drop the "Public Option / Government can do it better" debate...it's insulting. 12) Overreacting much? Did you just compare expecting residents of this country to identify themselves and pay taxes with the Holocaust? 12,000,000 people in this country who we can't identify or find, and you expect to help them how? And expecting them to PAY the same amount we do in order to RECEIVE the same benefits we're afforded, and you think that's unfair? 13) I do think that you're focusing on a fringe (albeit loud) segment of the party, but I can agree. While I don't feel advertising your religion is wrong as a public figure, inflicting it upon others is, especially when that's the supposed basis for both of our wars. I also think that "faith" needs to be separated from "religion", as well as "morality" should be separated from "religion". They are not mutually exclusive. 14) I don't know where you're seeing this in such a frenzy like you represent, but I also think that it's disingenuous to act like it didn't happen--coming from the other side--during the Bush years. Be fair at least. 15) Falls in line with #13, but at the same time, we do already place the livelihoods and lives of 300+ million people in the hands of incompetent cheats who--for some reason--always seem to get a pass from us and the media. You can't exactly look at this current Congress and Administration and call it a dream team.
