Typical Premium for 30 year $250K Level Term Life Insurance?
Any ideas for a 30 year old male and female (listed seperately) at the standard health rate? Terrible answer on the price being irrelavent....especially from someone that is a financial advisor. I've had 2 financial advisors from two different highly rated companies and they where pushing $1M polices with a combo of pernament life...seriously? I just want all dept wiped if I were to die.

- It depends on the insurance companies. The one I use give same rates for both male and female. Rate are determined by health and physical factors, age, and total coverage. I'm not sure what you mean by "standard" health rate. Here are the 4 different rates for a 30 year old person for a 30 year level term of $250,000 coverage: Preferred Plus: $220/year Preferred: $267.50/year Non-Tobacco User: $407.50/year Tobacco User: $592.50/year
- Call some local insurance agents and get some quotes. At 30 the rates are very reasonable. And, taking a 30 year policy is a good idea. Time goes by in the blink of an eye. Call a few of the big companies. Tell them exactly what you said here so they know exactly what you want. Start with the company that has your auto or home insurance since you may get a discount with them if you take life insurance with them.
