New York Life Insurance Agents?
For those of you that have worked or work for this company, what was your experiences and opinions working with them. Of course I hear them ramble on about the reputation and track record, but I would like more REAL information about this field before attempting to jump in.

- I have worked closely with several NYLife advisors. You're aspiring to one of the few insurance-based true financial advisory organizations. They won't teach you to be an insurance agent; they'll train you to be a true financial professional. Your job won't be to sell insurance; it will be to secure the overall financial well-being and objective of yours clients. Insurance products will certainly be the foundation of those plans for most of your clients. You will be a practitioner; not a salesperson. Your job will have more in common with your clients' family physicians that it will the guys from whom they buy their auto insurance.
