1. How can seniors be in poverty under the messiah?????? Seniors benefited from their FAT FAT pensions, SS benefits, high paying jobs that been disappearing against the echo boomers, cheap health care benefits (medicare d), great life/health insurance, etc... How can seniors be poor? 1. Being stupid.. 2. Living beyond their means.. 3. Only earned a GED 4. Thought they were millionaires. 5. Crappy investments. 6. Retiring to early 7. Not Saving your money... 8. Being a lazy Hippie drug addict.. . 9. Spending all your money on some whore women... 10. THEY DID NOT GET A HEALTH/LIFE INSURANCE POLICY.... You can sign up for either Whole or Term Life, YOU DECIDE, IT IS DIFFERENT FOR everybody. (((morbidity rates ))))) If poor people want welfare, then they must work for it on a work camp!

  1. Are there facts and figures somewhere, or do you just want to blow off steam? EDIT: "If poor people want welfare, then they must work for it on a work camp!" I really think you should research the number of people on welfare who work (the majority) or the number of people on welfare who have more than one job (I've heard anywhere from 30-45%) I'm just sayin'.
  2. 2 points. BOING!
  3. what fat fat pensions what ss benefits what high paying jobs what health care benefits what great life/health insurance etc.
  4. You're UGLY AND WOMEN DON'T LIKE YOU!!!! To answer your question, pretty easily actually! A senior can just find a cardboard box and live in it.
  5. What planet are you on?
  6. 11. a lifetime of wealth stolen by YOUR zionist agenda of greed of wall street , corporations , and the bankers .
  7. What crawled up your coose?
  8. How about non of the above for most of them. Hasn't ever occurred to you that their income has not increased along with the cost of living? And, not all retired citizens had "good paying jobs". Some of them in fact were forced into medical and/or disability retirement due to being unable to work. Not to mention many other factors (besides the rhetoric you listed) that play into why a retired person may have a difficult time making ends meet when, they should be living the golden years of their life. However, I guess I shouldn't expect your ignorance to allow you to have any sense of sympathy or, to be able to empathize with a lot of these people and their situation.
  9. IDK. I am not poor, so none of the above apply to me. Medicare is not cheap. Parts A,B and D cost us $3,570 a year for just my husband. Next year it will double. We can afford it, many seniors can not.
  10. I sincerely hope you never fall upon hard times, because with your attitude, it is unlikely that anyone would be interested to help you.
  11. I agree with you somewhat, with a little more compassion. The whole problem with our societies in the West is the family unit has depreciated. Seniors are being left alone, because either children have abandoned them. Other cultures do not do this. They respect their elders for the wisdom they all hold in their decades old minds. Years of experience have taught them much, but the main thing they learned was "WISDOM"! The young people have always thought they know everything, can do anything, and that is the way it is supposed to be, but they learn after awhile, and then turn into seniors. Many seniors did do the right things, but the evils of man have destroyed their savings, or made it impossible for them to survive without some help. The United States Social Security System was NEVER designed to support seniors for more then two or three years. When it first began, the life expectancy was around 68. Now we are living into our eighties. It is a system that will go bankrupt, unless things are changed. Many years of gov have stolen the funds for other things, like welfare, or union wages and pensions. Time for the young to realize the gov will NOT be there for you when you get old, PERIOD!
  12. Did you just write "Health/Life insurance policy"?? you do realize only one of those helps when one is still physically living right? That they're not exchangeable?
  13. I dont fit the description but do live on social security only and am considered a low income senior. My job did not offer a 401K. Never took drugs. Was laid off at age 56 and I re-trained twice. Have one year of graduate school beyond my degree. Health insurance is not available to people over 65 without Medicare. Medicare costs $110 a month plus about 25% of the actual charges of everything plus $150 a month for Medigap insurance. I have a dental bill that I pay $200 a month on. That leaves me with $600 a month for food and rent. Still think there are no poor seniors?
