How old do babies have to be to be covered by life insurance policies?
Gerber's life insurance policy says 14 days old. Are there other insurance companies with different ages?

- That's pretty standard.
- Gerber is the most widely known child life insurance there is. You can't start the purchase PROCEDURE until the child is born, and you have a birth date. And the actual procedure, normally takes four to eight weeks. I don't know of any insurance company that can get a baby insured sooner.
- You probly need life insurance more than your child does. Get some life insurance quotes for you and add your child on the same policy as a children's rider. Call around for some quotes. Insurance Agents do not always offer the children's rider but it is a cheaper way for you to cover the children. Ususally insurance agents want to give you a separate policy for each kid, that way they make the most commission. Ask about adding a children's rider to a life insurance policy for yourself.
- lifeinsurance.awardspace.info - try this one. I have their insurance and, as remember, they can provide such a service.
