why cant i get 25yrs no claims on life insurance?

when i phone for a life insurance quote , they laugh at me when i ask if i can get a 25yrs no claims discount, why cant i get a discount?

1. Very funny. Life insurance pays out when you die. Of course you don't have any claims. Thank you for your humor...
2. There's no such thing as Life "Insurance", it's Life "Assurance", being that the event WILL happen, it's just a question of when.
3. That's like saying there's no such thing as a "toilet" it's called a "loo." You can get a 10% discount by buying a $900,000 policy over buying a $1,000,000 policy.
4. In effect you do get a "no claims discount" because as a 25 year old your life insurance will be considerably cheaper than what a 50 year old will pay for the same amount of coverage.
