fiat seicento problems>?

Im 17 years old and passed my driving test november. i decided to buy my first car fiat seicento sporting in december 2010 for £900. Model 2003 only 43,000 miles. got insurance with tesco they quoted me £2700. regreted ever since just had problem after problem. first got a puncture cost me £60 as needed new tyre aswell. then had another slow puncture £15 then 2 flat batteries, then overheated turned out had a radiator leak £130 then my clutch cable snapped £50 then gear stick and connectors £100 and the past week i have been finding it very hard to put it 1st gear so took to my local garage today and they said i need a new clutch and will be looking at roughly £200 - 250. i have no more money left and no transport. i have only had the car 1 and a half months should i get it fixed and wait for the next problem? if i cancel my insurance will i get any money back? i have put my whole life savings into this car and now dont know what to do. advice would be greatly appreciated

  1. I don't remember the last time I even saw a Fiat here in America. The saying goes that FIAT stands for "Fix It Again Tony". Dump the car and buy something reliable, a bicycle if that's all you can afford. Always remember that when you buy a used car, someone got rid of it for a reason, and it usually isn't that they won the lottery and are buying a Rolls. You should get some of the insurance money back. It depends on the Cancellation Clause in the contract. Make friends with a mechanic. Have him (or her) thoroughly inspect the next used car you consider. Try to learn a few basics about auto maintenance.
