Life insurance for 15,000 or more...for someone 65 or older..no health questions.?

My father is 69 years old, and wants to take out more life insurance, but is having trouble finding a suitable policy for his needs, colonial penn only wanted to give him 5k in coverage...and he is looking for AT LEAST 15k...He already has life insurance for 15k with aarp/nylife. I was wondering if anyone knew of another life insurance company who could give him at least another 15k, without asking health questions, like aarp/nylife? I told him that I would check on the net to see if I could find something for him, so your help would be appreciated... thanks!:)

  1. He should consult an independent insurance agent who sells policies from various companies so he can compare what they offer. Check online for the highest rated life insurance companies. They will require a physical exam and they probably require that he get at least $25,000. New York LIfe is a good company but they have higher standards and require the physical exam but it can be done at home. Only a cheesy online company would insure him without a physical at his age and they might be fly by nighters or not legitimate.
  2. Hi, as an independent insurance agent myself I can help you with that. Independent insurance agent such as myself have the flexibility to check various insurance companies and find which one suites your father best. The good thing about independent insurance agent is that we aren't bound by one company. We have the flexibility to do the research for you and see which company would be in the best interest for your father. Check my blog and Contacts for more details.
