My anxiety is ruining my life?
Ever since I can remember I've always had it. It has been such a part of my life that I don't even know who the normal me is. Recently I've went through a divorce and it seems that my syptoms have sky rocketed out of control. I can't think I can't even fuction most of the time. I just really need to know some good tips on how to deal with it better. I know the whole go see a therapist thing (which I've been working on getting insurance so I can do that). But is there tips on breathing techniques or vitamins I can take in order to tame it?

- Other than prescribed medication you can try relaxation techniques such as yoga. You can find poses and breathing exercises online. Go to online chat rooms or forums and talk with people who have the same problems and get ideas or talking it out with others that have the same problems may help too. They have online support groups just for this. I have problems myself, I never found help in counseling or therapists just prescribed medication from a Psychiatrist so I am only speaking what worked for me personally. If you do get insurance I would see a Psychiatrist first even if you don't want to take or don't believe in taking medication that way you can be clinically diagnosed then be directed to either counseling or therapy from there and possibly get a good recommendation for a good or specialized therapist or counselor.
- I have anxiety too and massages really help me relax. I try to get one every 6 weeks. Yoga also helps.
- It's depends on your age and where you live as well, type of car, etc. I would shop insurance coverage online and get quotes from various insurance companies. Try a reputable site like: http://www.insurance-cost.org
