- My mom got it for me, and still has it. It's a decent little program. I think my policy is now worth $25,000. I forget what she still pays around $10 a month? Which means she has paid about $3,000 for the policy so far. I'm 25. We keep meaning to change the beneficiary on the policy but you know.
- I purchased it for my first child and I will purchase it for my next. It is reasonably priced and builds cash value. I think it is a great investment for their future
- I do not have this, . I have a two year old son and I have 2 different $10,000.00 policies on him. I only pay 4.00 a month. I think that you should check into any insurance company that sells life insurance, and get your child on a whole life insurance policy. When you buy a whole life insurance policy, you are also earning money on this for your child's future. I know quite a bit about this, and if you want more info on this you can email me, and I will let you know more.
- no i don't, but i have a policy on myself. you can add your child to your policy as an addendum, i think that's what it's called, but insurance usually replaces lost income. if your child doesn't have any income coming in, it wouldnt make sense right now. if you want to save for their future, just put it in a money market account or a 529 however, if you feel you would need this money in case your child dies to take time off from work if you work outside the home, they money could come in handy. you could still save the money on your own. insurance policies are not really great vehicles for investment, they replace things that are lost/stolen/damaged. also term life is the way to go, much cheaper than whole life.
- i dont like it...... makes me think about my childs death...
- People, having a life insurance policy that builds cash value just to save is rediculous. Just deposit the cash into a bank account to save for your baby's future. And also, you don't need life insurance for your baby. Why would you??? It makes no sense, and is wasting money!
- i don't right now, but plan to. i just came across a paper today and put it aside so i can fill it out. my mom does have it on her grands and i think she likes it pretty good.
- My oldest son has had it since birth. It really is a cool deal I recommend getting it at a young age then it is cheaper.
