Mommies and Daddies!?

I am very interested i purchasing the gerber life insurance plan for my two lil ones. I need to know if this is a legit plan. Its seems to good to be true. I cant seem to save and this is something that will help me out. If i am gonna spend money then it will be for a good reason. Please if you have this plan let me know how its working out for you and if it is all that is seems to be. Thank you! Nah, the reason i am getting it is so they will have a good start when they leave the 'nest'. even if it is a small amount. anything helps. i try not to think of my kids dieing though. hopefully they burry me. I am sure if you look into the cash value only a couple of years later it wount be very large. i dont plan on using it, unless of an incident, but until they turn the age they need to be to have full value.

  1. its very ligit. i recomend it. :]
  2. I think its a good plan!
  3. Not too sure. I think my friend did this last month for her 9 month old. Maybe you could research it at www.toogoodtobetrue.com Good luck!
  4. i got into it, and i was better off putting my own diffrent life insurance on them... i paid for 2 years, and they still as of today never gave back my money Good luck... I could have just got the worst of the deck of cards....
  5. I have it for my two boys. I have had it since they were babies and they are 5 and 2 now. I pay $10 a month for each of their plans. Now their plans have a cash value on them but not to much. I mainly did it so they would already have a plan set in place as they get older. I have heard many parents and grandparents have gotten it. I talked to a few of them and they all say it is a wonderful plan for young children.
  6. I don't have it, I was thinking about it. But then I read that it is a waste of money to get life insurance on a baby unless it's a famous baby or a sick baby. It's just a way for insurance companies to make money.
  7. its legit, but to me its gross to think you will get moneyif your kid dies...sorry just my opinion.
  8. i have it on my 2 kids, i haven't had any problems with them, I've had it for almost 5 years now, they give you an option to increase it at certain ages, and it is affordable, the only thing they don't cover is if the child commits suicide-hopefully we never have to think of such a thing happening they also have a cash value that you can get loaned to you- but i haven't used that yet
  9. Garbage. If you want coverage on your kids to bury them if they died, get a child rider on a term policy. If you really want a cash value type policy for kids (not sure why you would), look at other companies as rates are better, lower prices, and cash values better. Personally, i would avoid cash value policies for kids.
