Short term life insurance for flight?

I am flying to India in a couple of months. What's the cheapest way to get life insurance for that particular flight?

1. If you don't already have life insurance why get it for one flight??? You're far more likely to die driving a car or trying to pay for a bag of chips at a convenience store....
2. if you are talking about traveler's insurance, as in something that would cover your entire vacation, then talk to your travel agent and they will help you out. however, if you are talking about just the plane flight, JUST DONT GET IT. even if terrorists had blown up every plane that they had ever attempted to, flying would still be many times safer than driving a car to the airport. it is a total waste of money to get life insurance for a flight.
3. Check with your credit card company. Many provide insurance if you charge the airline tickets to the credit card. Generally, flight insurance is a waste of money. You are more likely to be killed in a car wreck than in a plane crash. You might consider taking out an accidental death and dismemberment policy (cost is about $10.00 per month) which would cover you in the case of any type of accident.
