What is the best whole life insurance company out there?

- Whole life insurance is crap! Don't waste your money. You can get a 20 or 30 year term policy for relatively cheap. You should buy 8-10 times your annual income.
- one of them is COUNTRY.
- There isn't a best one in all circumstances - that's why there are so many companies out there. Also, it's not clear if you really mean whole life or if you are using that term to refer to any permanent life policy. Talk to a few different agents to get different perspectives.
- The best way to find out who the best life insurance company is you should look up a companies rating i.e. A+ That would help with knowing the company would still be around to pay a claim if it ever came to it. As far as the "best" rate you should talk with someone who can get quotes from several companies. Let me know if I can help out anymore!
- The most old companys, you know I found interesting information about your answer here. http://all-insurance-online.blogspot.com/2007/08/life-insurance.htmlGood luck!
- Compare Life Insurance, 2insure4less http://compactsource.info/rdnet/2insure4less/2
- There are a ton of them. Make sure they've been around for a long time. I'm insured with Northwestern Mutual. They've been great and my premium has almost vanished. Of course, I'm using my dividends to pay it, but there's very little out of pocket now. And make sure you minimally check their A.M. Best rating. They rate companies on their financial stability and their ability to pay. Best.
