please if anyone can answer this . do a person need to do a ultra sound, if ur buying life insurance?

this person is 44 and wants to buy life insurance, the company send them to do a phsical exam, aids test, blood test, the whole works and is was good result. by the way this person is a none smoker. dont drink and a female. why do this person needs to do a ultra sound test , and they are not pregnant , thats what the agent says, please anyone who knows this answer. thanks a lot.

1. Different insurers have different medical underwriting exams. A ultrasound test is done for a specific reason.
2. Uterun fibroids perhaps. Some people don't check up on them very frequently once they are diagnosed, and the insurer probably wants to make sure they haven't changed. They would have found out about your fibroids from your interview with the examiner or your doctor's records.
3. Something from the test results that they had, showed something questionable, that an ultra sound could either confirm or deny. And the agent should have told them that, as well.
