how much can a person make as an insurance agent at New York Life?

My girlfriend lives in the Houston, TX area. If you can offer details about the commission rates...that would be great. thanks for the answer...answer one. though i am looking for specifics.

1. depends on how good u can hustle because that is what wages and insurance is all about.
2. Commissions are about 95% of first year premium for whole life, 40% of first year premium for term life. Renewals are about 3% of the premium. As with all straight commission jobs, if ya don't sell, ya don't earn.
