2. The share of private life insurance companies in india is about 43% as on October 2007.... a 18% jump from the previous year!! LIC stands at 57 % and i guess the figure stands fallen still down as on date.... Max New York has a market share among private sector players of 5.5%, thats 5.5% of 43%. So in total it will come to 2.3 percent....
