does this job sound like a scam to you?

I recently got offered a position with Liberty National Life Insurance, they need agents, which is a pretty work at home job, here's the catch, I got to pay $100 to get state licensed, he sounded pretty nonchalant about me doing my own research and calling him back if I was still interested sound like a scam?

  1. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. On another note, even if it is legitimate, he sounds like he's not too excited to be working there. Do you really want to work at a place like that?
  2. sounds like primerica...
  3. Well, if they ask you for money, then it most definitely is a scam.
  4. no....being a life insurance agent is much like being a real estate agent. you have to pay to take the classes to get you licensed, which allows you tell sell the insurance policys.
  5. Sounds like a scam to me! Or maybe you will have the same job as the person that told you about the catch - maybe you will be expected to do the same to everyone else!
  6. Liberty National is a real company. Insurance sales people have to be licensed in the state they are working in. Just like with real estate people or any other job that needs a state license it would be your responsibility.
  7. you shouldnt have to pay anything to start a job
